Pastor Timothy Severt

Pastor Tim has been in full time ministry since February 1993. He was a Missionary in Zambia, Africa for thirteen years (from 1995-2008) and has been the pastor of Hope Baptist Church since that time. God has given him a pastor’s heart that truly loves the members of HBC and they feel his love. He loves studying and teaching the Word of God in simple and easy understood language and also answering questions. His greatest love other than teaching the Bible is people.

He is a “people person” and every stranger is a friend he hasn’t met yet. Outside of church he loves to do yard work/landscaping and is all about The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians (Guardians)! His wife says he seems to be on the phone with his children forever and loves his twelve grandchildren.

Pastor Andrew Severt

Pastor Andrew grew up in ministry while in Zambia, Africa. He was saved there and got a burden to work in the ministry while there. He worked well with his father in Zambia and now works as his assistant pastor since his ordination in November of 2023. Although graduating from the Institute in Zambia, he also attended Tony Evans training center while gaining additional, practical application here at Hope Baptist Church.

What a blessing he is in assisting with the cares and needs of HOPE in everything that is needed. He loves serving the Lord and has a genuine love and care for the church family, their growth, and outreach. One day, we may lose him and his family to a foreign mission field. Other than teaching the Bible, his greatest love is his wife and four boys, golf, and mastering the grill.
