Discipleship

"And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."
~ 2 Tim 2:2

In many churches, discipleship is the forgotten third step of the great commission. Just as important as it is for one to be saved and follow in obedience to baptism, it is important to follow through in obedience with discipleship. Although it is not required, we encourage that everyone be involved in this ministry by first being discipled and then discipling someone else.

Missions

A group of children are making a peace sign with their hands.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
~ Matt 28:19

HOPE cares for world missions! We not only support missionaries with prayers and finances, but we keep the families ever before us in mind, featuring a different missionary each week. We send monthly support, and we make biannual trips to a foreign field. (In 2025, a team from our church will go to the Philippines to visit the Ziss family.)

Hope Cares

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." ~ Matt 18:20

HOPE Cares is offered by any willing member. While Pastor Tim and Pastor Andrew make hospital and home visits, the members take meals into the homes of those recovering from surgeries or as needed during other special times of need. We rally around our family members that are going through special situations and help them to the best of our ability, even if it is with just being present.

Children's Ministry

"Suffer little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." ~ Matt 19:14

Sunday School classes have been reorganized, and each age group has a class that extends a family atmosphere. Each class goes on periodical outings to encourage closeness and relationships that will last beyond the walls of the building. We have curriculum for each class according to their age group and encourage class participation to contribute.

We have Sunday school classes for nursery aged children through seniors.
